Your role

Your Daily Tasks Includes:

Take ownership of the overarching system architecture, defining the technical vision and strategy for enterprise-level Java applications.
Design scalable, secure, and resilient microservices and distributed systems, ensuring high performance and long-term maintainability.
Lead technical decision-making, evaluating new frameworks, tools, and cloud technologies to keep the tech stack modern and efficient.
Mentor and guide engineering teams, promoting best practices in clean code, design patterns, and test-driven development.
Collaborate closely with product management, stakeholders, and other architects to align technical solutions with business goals.
Establish and enforce architectural standards, ensuring robust API design, data modeling, and seamless integration between services.
Drive improvements in CI/CD processes, deployment strategies, and overall DevOps culture within the engineering organization.
Stay ahead of technology trends and assess their relevance and potential impact on the organization.

Your skills

Your Profile:
Extensive hands-on experience in software engineering with a strong focus on backend development using Java.
Proven track record as a Software Architect or Technical Lead designing complex, high-traffic distributed systems.
Deep expertise in Java ecosystem and frameworks, particularly Spring Boot .
Strong experience in microservices architecture, event-driven systems, and domain-driven design (DDD).
Solid understanding of cloud-native infrastructure (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes).
Knowledge of SQL databases, message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ, ActiveMQ), and caching strategies.
Strong background in CI/CD, DevOps practices, and infrastructure as code.
Exceptional communication skills, with the ability to translate complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Fluent communication skills in English (German is a plus).
Experience with AWS services is an advantage.
