- Take ownership of designing and implementing high‑quality backend solutions in Java — from initial concept through deployment and operation.
- Contribute to and shape key architecture decisions, balancing innovation, scalability, and long‑term maintainability.
- Build services with reusability, standardization, and clean design in mind to support a future‑proof tech ecosystem.
- Ensure and continuously improve software quality through automated testing, CI/CD pipelines, and thorough code reviews.
- Collaborate closely with other engineers, designers, and product owners in a self‑organized, agile team.
- Stay curious and proactive: explore new tools, frameworks, and approaches, and share knowledge within the team.
- Actively contribute to a strong engineering culture built on trust, ownership, and craftsmanship.

Your skills
Your Profile:
- Strong expertise in backend development.
- Hands‑on experience with Java in production systems.
- Proven experience with backend frameworks such as Spring Boot.
- Solid experience designing and implementing REST APIs, including documentation using OpenAPI / Swagger.
- Good understanding of SQL, with practical experience using PostgreSQL.
- Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines; experience with Docker and Kubernetes is a plus.
- Experience with Keycloak or similar IAM solutions is considered an advantage.
- Passion for writing clean, performant, and scalable code following industry best practices.
- Curiosity to explore modern backend and cloud technologies and enthusiasm for working in an international team.
- Strong communication skills in English (German is a plus).
- Experience with AWS services is an advantage.
