Application Engineer

• To work with the program team to ensure functional and manufacturing attributes are delivered within the design
• To conduct product issue analysis in case of non-conformity detected internally or by the customer and propose solutions with collaboration with plant team.
• To propose product/process modification in order to solve claimed issue
• To create samples (mockup) for proposed modifications in order to check feasibility of change and its impact to other product/process
• To evaluate solutions and to share it with plant team/customer, to manage sample delivery
• Communication/cooperation with supplier in order to solve claimed issue
• Responsibility to follow implementation of changes
• Based on analyse, to propose temporary solution (rework, repair) for claimed issues
• To cooperate with project team to introduce new programmes, support for local needs
• To be able to perform analysis using CAD data
• To have knowledge of design rules, mainly for plastic parts in automotive
• To know customer requirements and customer specific requirements and all activities carry out according to them
• Propose product/ process changes with objective to decrease the costs
