Senior Software Development Engineer

Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with software developers to create and execute test cases (both automated and manual testing) for selected features to find defects as early as possible in the software development process.
- Analyze code and identify areas where defects may be occurring.
- Collaborate with assigned team members (product owner, developer and QE test) to ensure a common understanding of acceptance criteria for a given feature.
- Support developer(s) on unit testing/ integration testing as needed.
- Write unit tests for legacy code as cycles allow.
- Participate in code reviews, as possible, to provide timely feedback to developers’ pull requests.

Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in software development/software testing.
- B.S. in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Familiarity with a wide range of platforms including Linux Server, SQL databases, Android, iOS, and web services.
- Experience with Test Driven Development is a plus.
- Working knowledge of programming languages including Java, Python, Bash, and/or Perl.
- Mobile development experience (e.g., develop/debug Kotlin and/or Swift) is a plus.
- Familiarity with Android and iOS debugging and automation tools like Android Studio, XCode, Appium, etc. is a plus.
- Working knowledge of Linux platform and CLI interfaces.
- Experience with continuous integration and Agile methodologies.
- Experience with defect management systems such as JIRA or BugZilla, etc.
- Proficient in English (written and verbal).
