Software Engineer C++

Our client is an Austrian FinTech company specialised in Big Data, Low Latency and Trend Forecasting for the FX and crypto market.

Location

• Remote (based in Slovakia)

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop and improve ultra-low latency sensitive Linux applications in C++ and C
• Work in a Linux environment, including tools for development and debugging
• Work in an agile team that designs, develops and maintains customized trading algorithms for the FX and crypto market
• Implement and test new features and support daily activities

Key requirements

• Bachelor’s or master’s degree in Computer Science or related fields
• 3+ years coding experience in C++ (at least C11, Standard Library)
• Strong experience with unit testing, knowledge of common technologies (Git, SVN, GitLab, etc.) plus Fix8, CMake, POCO, MongoDB, Google Test, Docker
  
• Enjoy working independently in a fast-moving environment
• Team player mentality with excellent problem-solving skills
