Junior Crude Oil Trader

Maximize the profit of MOL Group in the field of crude oil supply & trading by concluding purchase and sale transactions for system supply, upstream equity marketing, and physical positions taking.

Main responsibilities:

• Collect market information and data, share, and participate in its analysis with other team members and DS Value Chain Optimization & Scheduling analysts.
• Individually and jointly with other team members / INA crude oil traders, identify and develop the optimal supply scenarios as well as additional value creation opportunities through trading and re-optimization.
• Build external and internal relationships. Prepare and support decision-making materials and analyses on new business opportunities, commercial strategies, and re-optimization options.
• Work closely together with Treasury on payment security instruments, support chartering, deal with shipping claims.
• Maintain deal recording in ENDUR and ensure proper information sharing with relevant internal functions. Ensure timely contract administration and review in line with internal regulations.
• Provide risk management and derivative trading desks with necessary information to place risk exposure under control for the assigned book, getting the market structure utilized through appropriate hedging instruments, optimizing deals' P&L in line with Group inventory policy/targets.
• Prepare decision-making materials and analyses regarding MOL Group’s crude oil supply & trading processes, make process improvement proposals. Other tasks based on the request of direct supervisor.

What we expect?

• College or University degree (economics, business management, finance preferred)
• 2 - 4 years of experience
• Commercial mindset, risk taking attitude, quick decision making under high pressure, work in international team
• Interpersonal, communication, numerical, analytical, organizational
• Business experience is an advantage
• Fluent English (C1)
