Lead IT Program Manager

Leading implementation and roll-out of application development area related projects as a complex IT program, by delivering complex IT solutions according to MOL Group Business strategic requirements and ensuring high level satisfaction of both internal IT and business stakeholders as well as IT system users. Owns the planning and delivery of all IT projects belonging to his/her assigned program. Manages the program team assigned to him/her to ensure the successful delivery of IT programs.

MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES AND TASKS

• Responsible for the successful delivery of the overall program in alignment with business and IT requirements;
• Ensures IT projects belonging to his/her program are implemented in alignment with project management methodology and in full compliance with MOL IT standards and processes;
• Defines the program governance arrangements within IT with clear program controls, processes and reporting, works closely with the Business Program Manager to monitor overall program progress;
• Monitor progress of the overall program and the individual projects and makes sure that scope, budget, schedule and resource utilization commitments are being met across the program;
• Initiates change management process in case of change versus committed projects or program plan, elaborates options for solution based on change impact;
• Manages project teams of internal IT, business and external partners’ assigned members. Ensures allocation of resources with required skills within the program. Facilitates the appointment of individuals to projects pertaining to his/her program;
• Manages 3rd party contributions to the program. Applies effective consequences in case of non-performing or non-compliance;
• Ensures program projects’ results are handed over to Business and IT Operations based on pre-agreed criteria.

EDUCATION, SKILLS, EXPERIENCE:

• Strong experience from international work environment;
• University or college degree/ Information technology or Economics degree;
• Minimum 13 years’ experience in Project Management;
• Strong experience in managing complex IT projects or programs;
• Leading international Logistics related IT implementation projects;
• Professional competences (structured thinking, result oriented and able to work individually, structure own set of tasks w/o management guidance);
• Good knowledge of techniques for planning, monitoring and controlling complex IT projects or programs;
• Excellent organization and planning skills;
• Effective leadership, interpersonal and communication skills.
