Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Secretary General of the Slovak Compliance Circle manages the daily operations of SCC. The main tasks are: External communication with the business community and media (website, printed material, personal contacts). Internal communication with the Board of Directors and members of SCC. Organization of events and workshop. The Secretary General is also responsible for compliance with legal requirements and the statutes of SCC. The Secretary General is expected to contribute to the organizational development of SCC (esp. winning new members). The Secretary General reports to the Board of the SCC which is also responsible for his/her appointment. (The Board is elected by the General Assembly of SCC.) The position can also be designed as a part time job if the professional experience and efficiency of the candidate allows for it.

The main focus of the company is sharing best practices in the area of compliance amongst the Slovak business community
- Promoting the compliance officer function as well as the compliance officer profession in Slovakia; and
- Promoting ethical behaviour and compliance to the next generation of Slovak business leaders.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

Slovak - Proficiency (C2) and
English - Advanced (C1)

Driving licence


Number of years of experience


The position is suitable for a fresh graduate


Personality requirements and skills

- Professional experience in the field of compliance, event management and external communication is desirable.
- High motivation to contribute to the improvement of the business environment in Slovakia. Personal integrity. Ability to work independently. Strong communication skills, ability to self manage and organize events.
- Slovak mother tongue. Very good command of English (level C1) is indispensable.
- Computer skills - user: Experience in managing websites (CMS) highly desirable
- Number of years experience: preferably two years or more, but also graduates are considered if they have proven interest in compliance related issues.
