Nuclear Power Plant Process Specialist

• Inspection and commenting on the implementation designs of the mechanical engineering part and related technical documentation to ensure their compliance with the initial design, project safety concepts and legislative requirements.
• Checking, commenting, creation of control descriptions of controlled and regulated equipment, process ranges of measured quantities, limits for signalling or for initiating action commands, thermal-hydraulic calculations including calculations of piping, heat exchangers, control valves, throttling valves, documentation of design changes.
• Preparation of technical reports, documentation of non-conformities (FIN), technical specifications (calculation assignments, purchase specifications), technical analyses (e.g. analysis of the impact of loss of integrity or functionality of process equipment, its power supply, control on safe shutdown of aftercooling and maintenance of the unit in a safe condition).
• Coordination of interfaces between the managed design documentation of the machinery and plant operating files and the design documentation of the civil, electrical, process control systems, downstream machinery and plant operating files. 
• Carrying out irregular site visits in order to verify the compliance of the implementation project with the actual situation on site.

• Completed university degree - process or mechanical engineering.
• Minimum 5 years experience in nuclear power plant design; knowledge of the function of individual process systems, their interrelationships as well as links to SKR and electrical systems, the impact of systems, structures and components on nuclear safety.
• Experience with manual calculations (thermal-hydraulic calculations, design of basic dimensions of pressure equipment).
• English language at a communicative level (written and verbal).
• Active knowledge of Access, Excel and Adobe Acrobat XI Pro.
• Proactive approach to work with a problem-solving orientation.
