EULiST is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Communication Manager to lead, update and implement the Alliance’s communication and outreach strategies across Europe. This is a pivotal role within our international team, ensuring high-quality internal and external communication aligned with EULiST’s values and vision.
Key ResponsibilitiesCreate and manage content – Collaborate with colleagues across the alliance to produce high-quality communication materials ranging from feature articles and reports to short-form digital content like social media posts and video scripts. Draft original content, integrate contributions from others, and adapt materials for various formats and audiences.
Manage social media presence – Plan, execute, and monitor EULiST’s social media strategy across platforms (e.g., LinkedIn, Facebook, Instagram). Create engaging posts, grow audiences, and ensure regular, brand-aligned communication that supports visibility and stakeholder engagement.
Develop and utilize digital platforms and tools – Oversee the maintenance and strategic development of the EULiST website, newsletters, video content, and other digital tools. Lead the creation of a centralized, multilingual online hub as a resource for students, researchers, and policy actors across Europe.
Enhance visibility of EULiST activities – Proactively identify opportunities to raise awareness of EULiST’s initiatives, research, and impact. Coordinate content across channels to ensure broad and effective reach to external stakeholders, institutions, and the public.
Engage EULiST audiences – Develop and implement targeted strategies to inform and involve diverse stakeholders, including students, academics, policymakers, European and national institutions, companies, and media. Ensure alignment and coordination of messages across partner universities and task groups.
Implement and sustain a strategic PR approach – Act as the primary media contact and lead media engagement efforts to elevate EULiST’s profile. Coordinate the drafting and distribution of press releases, develop media kits, secure earned media coverage, and build strong relationships with journalists and institutional communication leads.
Coordinate communication governance – Chair the EULiST PR Unit, organize regular coordination meetings with communication representatives from member institutions, and collaborate closely with the Secretary General.
Manage communications infrastructure and workflows – Oversee the use and continuous improvement of communication resources such as a shared digital asset library, CRM platform, brand and style guides, and templates for publications and promotional materials.
Monitor and report – Measure and evaluate the effectiveness of communication efforts across all platforms. Provide actionable insights and regular reports to the Secretary General and leadership bodies.
The communication and outreach strategy has already been made however the document and its content are up for the regular evaluation as our strategy may evolve through time

At international level, STU has closed hundreds of collaboration agreements with foreign universities, faculties and research institutes. Every year almost 500 students are sent abroad on study stays and/or participate in student exchange programmes.
