IT Analyst - data in risk management area

We are looking for a passionate Data & IT Analyst who is willing to contribute with his/her expertise in building new solutions in risk management area.

The successful candidate will take beneficial part in improving the bank’s ability to turn data into information, information into insight and insight into business decisions.

We are offering an opportunity to be part of a newly established team of IT Analysts focusing on risk management topics.

Job Duties

• Responsibilities include leading group of developers and business analysts, which together form a team responsible for key data assets in bank
• It also includes being an active member of the bank’s data community, educating and being available to others when it comes to risk management topics
• IT Analyst frequently talks to business people, and tries to be a „bridge“ between data and business world.

Responsibilities

• Lead group of business analysts and IT developers
• Host meetings and workshops with business teams and executives on data-related topics and projects
• Work with management to prioritize business and information needs
• Locate and define new process improvement opportunities
• Be a part of transition of bank’s data processing to Cloud
• Find and evaluate new tools which could improve bank’s ability to extract value from data

Requirements

• Proven working experience as a Data Analyst or Business Data Analyst
• Ability to dive into detail and understand meaning of specific data and its impact on bank’s processes
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to collect, organize, analyze, and disseminate significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy
• Innovative thinking and ability to turn these innovative ideas into reality
• Client centric approach and ability to see things from different angles
• Understanding of developer and business analyst role in project management
• Open-minded approach to problem solving
• Knowledge and understanding of major Cloud data service providers (Azure, AWS, Google)
• Willingness to learn new things combined with the ability to bring new ideas and drive to see them adopted to existing well established processes in the bank

Skills improving your chances

• Experience in banking industry
• Knowledge of Microsoft SSAS/Tabular, MDX/DAX, Power BI, Sharepoint
• Knowledge of Microsoft Azure (Data Lake Storage, Data Factory, Databricks, Synapse Analytics,...) or other cloud solutions
• Knowledge of Python
• Knowledge of stream processing tools and No SQL (SPARK, KAFKA)
• Experience with "collaborative tools" (Jira, Confluence, MS Teams)
• Experience with GIT, Nexus, Jenkins
