Investment Operations Specialist (m/f)

As fully-owned subsidiary of Erste Bank AG, Erste Asset Management GmbH coordinates and is responsible for all asset management activities of the Group. More than 300 employees develop and manage investment solutions for our investors. The position will be located in Bratislava at our branch Erste Asset Management GmbH, pobočka Slovenská republika (hereinafter “EAM SK“).
Within the branch in Bratislava we are looking for a Investment Operations Specialist.

You will perform these tasks and responsibilities:

• Close cooperation with our fund management and external business partners
• Coordination in operative daily business
• Trade processing (transaction processing incl. processing of settlement issues, broker matching of securities, FX and derivatives transactions)
• Reporting of securities, FX- and derivative-transactions to custodians
• Daily reconciliation of holdings between SimCorp Dimension and external asset management company/external depository bank
• “Mirror” fund accounting in SimCorp Dimension
• Claim management incl. support and solution finding for settle fails
• Collaboration in the introduction or adaptation of processes due to automation projects
• Business requirements specification and testing in relevant automation projects (e.g. new interfaces, SWIFT etc).

You should:

• have a financial background in business studies (preferably bachelor’s or university degree)
• be fluent in English (and preferably in German)
• have a good knowledge of MS-Excel (VBA advantageous), MS-Word, MS-Powerpoint
• have good coordinative capabilities
• be detail-oriented
• be a team player
• be accountable
• be interested in a long term working relationship
