Senior Strategy Finance Analyst

We are searching for a senior candidate, professional with strong financial background, having general business sense/commercial feeling. We’re looking for an individual with ability to derive the big picture and present conclusions to the company executive managers. The ideal candidate will have a unique opportunity to apply creativity and develop hard and soft skills via participating and co-managing strategic projects in the telecommunications industry that are covering both Slovak and Czech markets. In particular, the job description include:

• Preparation of general analysis of the telecommunication market development on both Czech & Slovak markets, monitoring key industry trends
• Key competition moves monitoring, mid-term market projections, analysis of implications of the company strategic projects on the competitors - market scenarios development
• Financial analysis for selected strategic projects, identification of new strategic co-operation opportunities on the market, search for an alternative models of financing tailored to the needs of T-Mobile Czech Republic and Slovak Telekom
• Evaluate alternatives, propose preferred option(s) to the company management
• Strategic projects performance evaluation (projection vs actual) and corrective measures proposal
  Preparation of outputs for executive management, local and group stake-holders management

What do we expect from you

• University master degree – preferably Master of Economics
• Min. 4 years experience with business case preparation – investors’ decision models (e.g. make or buy), sensitivity analysis
• Basics from financial reporting (IFRS or US GAAP) & financial modelling – audit experience is an advantage
• Strong analytical skills, expert user of MS Excel, Think-Cell
• Presentation and communication skills - assertive communication and storytelling
• Creativity and ability to search for new solutions
• Pro-active approach in the dynamic working environment is expected
• Basic telecommunication industry understanding is an advantage, experience from online/digital business, banking or power generating industries are welcome
• English language – Expert (C1) – Czech or Slovak languages are not mandatory
