About your job
Job PurposeCreate insightful analytics and develop sustainable data and reporting models to enhance and improve the innovation and business change service capability, globally.
Key responsibilities
- Familiarity with programming software and data management software
- Capable of value stream mapping and creating process flows
- Familiar with writing SOP’s and Work Instructions
- Experience with Microsoft Office (including Visio) required
- Experience with Power BI and SQL required
- Knowledge of ServiceNow, Tableau, SAP, APO, JDA is preferred
- Effective communication and networking skills to interact across the organization
- Continuously looking for opportunities to learn, build skills and share learning
- Development/Improvement of data architecture for reporting
- Develop efficient/easy-to-use automated reporting analytics, allowing the supply chain teams to make sound tactical decisions, maintaining and improving the supply chain’s efficiency.
- Analyse existing reports and drive improvements
- Collaborate with other IT and data departments to refine and improve the sources of data and to evolve existing reports to achieve higher accuracy and less errors.
- Create efficient models & data flows that facilitates daily/weekly/monthly reporting to improve operations.
- Master the calculation of Key Performance Indicators (KPI) for the department. Identify risks or opportunities. Communicate findings in a succinct and simple manner.
- Shadow cross-functional roles within the department to gain an understanding of daily challenges and propose improvements
- Continuously improve upon the efficiency, accuracy, usability and sustainability of the data and analytics
About you
Requirements:- Bachelor’s Degree in Business, Supply Chain and Logistics, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Engineering or Business Technology field with a focus on Business Intelligence, data and analytics or programming
- 2 years of experience in the maintenance and development of data models and reporting with large amounts of data
- Data Server Skills: Microsoft SQL Server, Azure, Database Shell Script
- Reporting/Analytics Skills: Excel (Visual Basic, Macros), SQL, Power BI, Tableau, Qlik (or similar)
- Data Analytics in Supply Chain and Logistics – preferred
Previous Experience Required:
- Metrics and Reporting Development Experience
- Analysing complex sets of data and simplifying it
- Problem resolution skills
- Leadership capabilities
- Excellent interpersonal skills and experience of working in a multi-cultural environment
- Strong communication skills.
- Process management skills – ability to define and deliver new ways of working
- Ability to work off own initiative and comfortable with delegated responsibility
- High level of ability to manage various sets of complex data, external partners and stakeholders to drive various changes
- Effectively communicate and partner with stakeholders and leadership
- Network effectively both internally and externally
- Ability to communicate and work with both business and technical resources to ensure delivery of desired process outcomes
- Demonstrable ability to analyse and design business processes and identification of efficiencies / improvements
- Strong communication and documentation skills including coordination skills, good personal presentation, oral and written communication skills
- Ability to influence others and broker mutually acceptable solutions
- Ability to understand data privacy aspects of the business process
