Job description, responsibilities and duties
Do you want to be part of a successful team and develop SKOV’s business in ventilation and farm management systems for the pig and poultry industry in Central Eastern Europe? Then we have the right job for you as Area Sales Manager.
SKOV is the largest and most acknowledged partner in providing climate solutions, farm management, and digital value chain services for animal production worldwide. We continue our successful growth strategy and seek to strengthen our position and presence in Eastern Europe.
The task will be to increase sales and market share through sales and marketing activities, working with key accounts and distributors. Our headquarters is based in Denmark (Jutland), so the job will include frequent traveling and interaction with customers, stakeholders, and colleagues at SKOV Headquarters.
Your role will be to:
- Connect and create relations with current and potential direct customers.
- Support and develop the dealer network.
- Provide system and equipment recommendations to key customers.
- Work with the projecting team to provide climate solutions that align with market requirements and customer needs.
- Negotiate solution, terms and price and close the deals.
- Keep up to date with market developments and trends to identify sales opportunities.
- Promote SKOV on exhibitions and seminars as needed.

To be a success in this role, we imagine that you have
- a relevant technical degree
- Several years of experience with direct sales and sales via dealers within AG technology.
- It would be preferable if you also have experience with climate solutions for poultry or pigs.
- Proficiency in English and Ukrainian at a professional level and preferably knowledge of Polish, Czech, Slovakian, or Hungarian.
We are looking for a business-oriented colleague who is highly competent in managing the complete sales process—from first contact to closing the deal. Of course, we expect that you are motivated by selling solutions to customers and comfortable building relationships and communicating effectively with others.
