Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

- You are the team leader of 6 office employees and managing the company
- You are responsible for the follow-up of transport orders and drivers in your region
- You assure the follow up of the trucks, sending instruction messages to the drivers, and phone contacts to give transport orders and follow up (confirmation of loadings, deliveries, etc)
- You control the orders of drivers, respect of instructions, as well as legal rest and driving times
- You arrange the training for drivers
You answer to drivers phone calls in case of problems, and find solutions and escalate to your superior if needed (breakdown, technical problem, etc)
- Business trips abroad

Personality requirements and skills

You have a degree in logistics management, transportation, or equivalent experience in a dispatching, planning or transport operational position.
You have a critical eye for improvement, a hands-on mentality and strong organizational skills.
You are familiar with road transport and have good knowledge of EU geography.
You have good interpersonal skills and a true team player, able to share problems and advice.
You are an excellent communicator and able to work under stress in a dynamic environment.
You are fluent in English and in Romanian. Any other European language is a plus.
You like to work in a growing company, where human contacts and your colleagues are key to success!
