Quality Assurance Engineer

• Definition and coordination of the use of methods (8D, Ishikawa, 5W) and tools (SPC, Pareto, FSK) at the supplier to ensure part quality
• Evaluation of supplier statistics
• Execution of potential analyses and VDA 6.3 audits
• Participation in customer audits at the supplier or in the organization
• Determination of process, machine and gauge capability at the supplier's site
• Ensuring sustainable compliance with customer and organizational quality requirements on the part of the supplier
• Validation of the part quality of purchased parts in the prototype, pre-series and series phases
• Review of the supplier's PPAP, sampling or requalification documentation
• Technical coordination with customers, suppliers and internal project partners
• Coordination (evaluate, analyze, act and react) of required laboratory testing for purchased parts
• Review and approval of inquiry drawings for purchased parts
• Collaboration in the analysis of customer requirements (specifications, drawings)
• Determination of limit samples together with customers and suppliers
• Central contact person for all relevant Q topics towards customers in the PDP phase
• Determination of customer-specific quality criteria and communication to RF plants
• Creation and maintenance of the applicable Q documentation, e.g. parts life cycle, inspection plans, FMEA, control plan, checklists,
• Sample preparation/testing for customers/suppliers in accordance with VDA Volume 2, PPAP and specific customer specifications (BEON, QTS, BMWB2B)
• Internal communication to actively support the definition of correction and improvement programs including the required defect analyses in the plant
• Preparation of specifications for measurement concepts (ZSB and purchased parts)
• Support in the preparation of measurement concepts by internal and external facilities
• Measurement capability analyses prior to transfer of the measurement systems to the plants concerned to ensure reproducibility and repeatability
• Approval of product and process quality from the development phase to series production (SOP)
