Supplier Quality Management Engineer for Machined Parts

We are building a new team of experts in a regional hub based in Brno (CZ). The Supplier Quality Management Engineer for Machined Parts will cooperate closely with the global Commodity Engineering and Procurement network.

Our goal is to drive and lead projects with a focus on high quality and productivity improvements in the assigned material fields.

• screening and finding of potentially new suppliers for machining of metal parts in Eastern Europe together with your partner from Procurement
• driving the technical qualification of new suppliers and improvement of the performance of existing suppliers base
• review of specifications with our suppliers
• auditing of supplier processes
• cooperation with cross-functional partners in our business unit
• supporting our locations on sustainable problem solving at the suppliers (e.g. 8D method and on-site reviews)

• Experience in production of machined metal parts (automated drilling, turning, milling).
• experience in quality management
• analytical skills and ability to find potential for improvement and optimization
• interest in the combination of technical and commercial approach
• fluent English
• willingness to travel up to 50%
• ability to lead projects
• willingness to work in an international team
• user knowledge of PC
• driver license - active driver

• experience in supplier quality management methods (e.g. Process audits, 8D)
• experience with CNC machines and Coordinate measurement machines (CMM)
• knowledge of cost and value engineering
• knowledge in SAP or similar system
• experience in testing processes and measuring devices
• skills in German
