Job description, responsibilities and duties

This position will head an IT service delivery center that delivers IT services to the global Siemens Healthineers IT and business organizations. The scope of services will cover the complete ITIL lifecycle (service design, service transition, service operations and continuous improvement etc.) for the global Healthineers IT infrastructure, as well as the support of a multitude of enterprise applications (custom-built / commercial-off-the-shelf / SaaS).
This position will have management responsibility for around 50 employees in a decentralized team, located in multiple locations.

Responsibilities
• Develop and ramp up the delivery center as a high-value center with full service ownership for mission critical services.
• Optimizing the delivery center based on SLA and KPI’s in collaboration with the global IT organization
• Expand the portfolio of the GDC in cooperation with the global IT organization. Innovate and create new services and/or new ways of delivering existing services more efficiently.
• Drive the internal digitalization for processes and applications using technologies such as cloud, data analytics, machine learning, chatbots, RPA etc.
• Manage and develop GDC employees. Lead by example. Empower and guide Business Excellence team members in the different locations. Enable outstanding performance and ensure that competencies are being developed and leveraged across geographical and cultural boundaries.
• Where appropriate, leverage 3rd party providers to deliver services. Build and sustain relationships with 3rd party service providers and diligently manage the relationships to ensure high-quality service delivery.
• Measure and maintain overall customer satisfaction with respect to the delivered services. Use measured results to drive continuous improvement.

Personality requirements and skills
• Long term experience in IT Service Delivery; experience with managing a comparable delivery center of a multinational company.
• 10+ years of experience in IT or IT related business.
• Proven track record of managing SLA-based delivery of critical IT services for a multi-national user base.
• Demonstrable track record of full service ownership – from service definition, through service transition, to service operations and continuous improvement.
• Experienced in managing 3rd party suppliers.
• Experienced in corporate budgeting and financial reporting.
• Strong presentation skills with an ability to communicate effectively to a diverse audience (C-level management and subject matter experts).
• Strong networking and influencing skills.
• Strong intercultural sensitivity.
