In line with applicable pay transparency requirements, the minimum gross monthly base salary for this position is 2 700€.

In addition, this role includes a variable compensation component, depending on individual and/or company performance.

The final offer will be determined based on qualifications, skills, and experience and may exceed the stated minimum.

Job description, responsibilities and duties

As an IT Database Manager and Business Analyst, you will take responsibility for structuring, governing, and optimizing Treasury-related data flows across the enterprise. With a strong IT and database background, you will manage our Snowflake platform, design data marts, implement role-based access concepts, and coordinate data infrastructure across cloud databases (DSS), local OLTP systems, and file-based sources, with strong focus on active utilization and implementation of AI solutions.

You will act as the central go‑to person for Treasury for all data‑related questions and improvements.

This position is part of our Business systems administration (BSA) organization and plays a key role in ensuring stable, efficient operational processes that support all Treasury IT data services.

Tasks and Responsibilities
Business & Data Analysis
  • Act as Business Analyst for Treasury data organization, ensuring structured, high‑quality, and well‑documented data flows.
  • Coordinate with data providers, system owners, and integration teams to ensure stable data pipelines.
  • Support reporting and analytical requirements by aligning stakeholders on data definitions and structures and by using AI

Database & Platform Responsibilities
  • Manage and optimize Snowflake usage (warehouse structure, performance, data governance).
  • Design, deploy, and maintain data mart concepts for analytics and reporting.
  • Strengthen and maintain role-based access control (RBAC) and build data marts
  • Design and oversee database environments across:
    • Cloud databases (DSS)
    • OLTP local databases (e.g., MSSQL, AzureSQL)
    • File-based storage

Operations, Quality, and Compliance
  • Ensure data quality, consistency, lineage, and traceability.
  • Support ICFR-relevant processes, compliance requirements, and data privacy policies.
  • Provide operational support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of Treasury database services.

Stakeholder Collaboration
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for Treasury regarding data structures, reporting needs, and data model enhancements.

  • Communicate proactively with IT, business, and external partners as well on data sourcing

Required education, skills and personality requirements

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

in Computer Science, Math, Engineering, or comparable field

Personality requirements and skills

  • Strong understanding of database concepts and data architecture.
  • Hands‑on experience with Snowflake and Microsoft SQL Server (MSSQL).
  • Strong SQL skills and experience in data transformation.
  • Experience in data governance, AI, RBAC, and secure data handling.
  • Strong communication and project experience, ideally in cross-functional setups.
  • Treasury or financial data experience is considered a plus.
  • Awareness of compliance, audit, and data‑privacy handling.
  • Structured and analytical working style with strong problem‑solving skills.


Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 2700EUR brutto /month + VAR*
