Apply now for the position of Software Project Manager for product Velocity 4.2 and you will ensure project completion supporting new software products and releases for customers in radiation oncology and similar oncology fields.

The Velocity™ platform unifies patient imaging and treatment information acquired from different systems, at different times, and in different positions, to provide a comprehensive view of the patient’s clinical history. Providing this complete picture can optimize clinical efficiency across entire oncology department and improve every step of the clinical care workflow.

You can set the groundwork for your successful team in Košice. The team will takeover product knowledge from existing team and continuously innovate its functionality as well as architecture in close cooperation with existing team located in USA in releasing next-generation cancer imaging solutions to power healthcare teams to have the right information in the right place at the right time.

You’ll manage software projects to improve both the outcomes for patients and the quality of cancer care.

Your role:

  • Coordination of internal resources and third parties/vendors for the flawless execution of project and achieving of required project milestones
  • Participation on the definition of project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility
  • Manage and lead the cross-department project steering group during execution of the project
  • Coordinate the post release and maintenance activities
  • Identification and assessment of potential issues and risks
  • Management of changes to the project scope, project schedule, and project costs using appropriate verification techniques
  • Measurement of project performance using appropriate tools and techniques
  • Continuous reporting of project status and project updates to upper Management
  • Working with documentation platforms to create, collaborate on, and manage medical device product documents (i.e. design & development plan, risk management plan, etc.)
  • Verification and achievement of traceability for quality system requirements on software as a medical device
  • Delivery of projects on time, within the scope, and budget

              

Your expertise:

  • Degree in computer science, business informatics or a comparable field
  • 4+ years’ experience in IT project management
  • Experience in leadership as a project manager, line manager or team leader for team of developers
  • Clear understanding of processes within Product Lifecycle Management and hands-on experience with LEAN and Agile software development
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Confident communication, strong negotiation skills
  • Strong analytical skills, logical thinking and attention to detail
  • Good time management, ability to organize and prioritize project tasks
  • Customer and goal orientation, proactivity
  • Ability to approach problems from different perspectives, creativity
  • Your engagement in international and intercultural project teams in globally distributed environment

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 2800 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
