The Siemens Healthineers Ultrasound factory produces highly configurable ultrasound medical devices for the Healthcare market.

Then come and join our global team as a Commodity Specialist to manage commodity-specific value and cost optimization programs as a technical expert.


You will be responsible for:


• Managing the site supply chain by sourcing, reviewing, and purchasing commodities.
• Evaluating, selecting, and recommending new vendors/suppliers to management considering localization, dual-sourcing, risk mitigation and strategic sourcing.
• Negotiating favorable prices and terms of purchase to maximize best commodity sourcing practices.
• Building and maintaining good relationships with commodity suppliers and distributors.
• Studying market trends and identifying any risks when sourcing and procuring commodities.
• Ensuring that project-approved budgets are adhered to.
• Prepare and negotiate contracts and other type of supply agreements.
• Resolving vendor disputes and any commodity-related issues.




To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience:
• Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering/technical field, ecomomics. 
• At least 3 years' experience in supply chain or commodity management. 
• Solid knowledge of financial markets that influence commodity prices.
• Experience working with commodity trading and risk management software.
• Good negotiation skills and the ability to communicate effectively with vendors and suppliers.
• Advanced analytical skills.
• Strong leadership skills and the ability to work well with personnel from various departments.
• Willing to travel up to 25%. 


Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards : 
from 2000 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
