Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are currently looking for a new colleague, who will join our Point of Care Informatics Team.

The team that you will be part of is maintaining a desktop data management application and a web data management solution, called POCcelerator and POCcelerator Web. For this purpose, we are opening a new position for a senior software engineer who can apply his/her programming skills, especially in C++ and MsSQL, potentially also in ASP.NET and C#.

You will work with:
  • Software connecting diagnostic devices from different vendors
  • Primarily with C++ and C++ builder 11 and MsSQL
  • Unit and Integration tests to automate the release environment
  • Agile/Scrum
  • International Point of Care Diagnostics team

We expect:
  • At least 5 years’ experience in C++ and MsSQL
  • Experience with the use of version control system (e.g. GIT, TFS, Azure DevOps or similar)
  • Good understanding of agile software development practices
  • Understanding of DevOps approach, CI/CD principles
  • Test automation on unit and integration level
  • Fluent communication in English
  • Teamwork, continuous improvement mindset

Nice to have:
  • Experience with ASP.Net, Telerik, HTML, JavaSCript, Angular and C#
