Syngo Virtual Cockpit is Siemens Healthineers’ software for vendor independent Remote Scanning. As Team Leader you will organize, coordinate and control all activities for product development in relevant section / sub-team with the objective of customer satisfaction, global competitiveness and innovation. You will participate in the entire end-to-end product development (idea generation, product definition, prototyping, design, implementation, acceptance testing, optimization, customer support, fault reports handling, etc.), with the focus on the team leading activities. It would be great if you already have at least one of specialized skills from the area of software development like e.g. programming, architecture, system engineering, quality assurance/testing, CI/CD or DevOps.

Your primary responsibilities as Team Leader will include but not limited to the following:

  • Personal responsibility for a group of employees.
  • Guiding and inspiring employees to work more productively by providing common goals, improving skills by selected trainings, aligning mindset and fostering knowledge sharing. You will attract, select and integrate new employees.
  • Ensuring adherence to defined guidelines, processes and procedures and striving to continuously improve processes, methods and tools regarding the specific section / team / domain.
  • Contributing to setting strategic directions together with the team and company management.

What are we expecting?  

Professional skills:

  • Master’s degree in computer science (or related field) or equivalent work experience in software development
  • 5+ years in software development
  • You already have experience in people management or are a software development professional in a at least mid-level role who is looking for a change in her/his carrier path
  • You have clear understanding of processes within Product Lifecycle Management and have hands-on experience with LEAN and Agile software development
  • You have experience in applying DevOps, LEAN and Agile practices in product development
  • Continuous Learning and Continues Improvement is part of your daily life with respect to yourself and for your environment
  • You have solid communication skills

Language skills:

  • English – advanced
  • German – has its additional value but it’s optional

In this role, you might be rarely travelling abroad (typically to Germany).

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 2700 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
