Job description, responsibilities and duties

We at Siemens Advanta Slovakia develop SCADA product WinCC Open Architecture (https://www.winccoa.com) for industry automation. We are looking for a software engineer to join our agile team. If you are passionate about software development and are a good team player, we are interested in you!

You will be responsible for the development of software components for process automation used by a variety of industrial SCADA systems. Together with our dedicated team, in collaboration with various near-shore Siemens locations, you will be working within an encouraging and professional environment.

Requirements: 
• Very good knowledge of object oriented software development (preferably in C++)
• Excellent analytic skills
• Fluent in English (written & spoken)
• Team based approach
• Good communication skills
• Client orientation
• Database experience and skills are advantage for the position

Nice to have: 
• Experience with SCADA / HMI / PLC
• Experience with agile development methods and processes
• Working experience with CM-tools e.g. TFS, GIT, …
• Working experience with bug tracking tools e.g. TFS, …
• German language
