Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Siemens Healthineers Ultrasound factory produces highly configurable ultrasound medical devices for the Healthcare market.

We are seeking a Program Manager to design and execute Ultrasound supply chain global footprint. The Program Manager leads a global cross-functional team with the overall responsibility for all activities related to the program from business case study to handover to operations team with accountability of the schedule, budget, and scope.

You will be responsible for:
  • Responsible for the successful initiation, planning, execution, monitoring, controlling and closure of multiple New Product Introduction projects through to production.
  • You will be part of the team to define supply chain strategy.
  • You will introduce / launch a product into the Kosice Manufacturing Site.
  • Define project scope and objectives, involving all relevant stakeholders and ensuring technical feasibility.
  • Achieve on-time, on-budget and goal-based delivery of these high-profile projects.
  • Activity and resource planning for the program. Work closely with cross-functional teams including SCM, strategic purchasing, engineering, product management, marketing & sales, quality and regulatory, ECC, and third party to define, develop and maintain the project plan and resource plan.
  • Manage changes to the project scope, project schedule and project costs using appropriate verification techniques.
  • Evaluate, analyze, and manage program risks. Work closely with cross-functional team to provide effective mitigations. Provide clear and timely communication to the management team and stake holders on a regular basis.
  • Monitor program progress and team performance and provide regular reports to management team and stake holders. Organizing and motivating the team to meet the program goals.
  • Ensuring quality and customer satisfaction by following all regulations, standards, and company processes throughout all phrases of the program.

To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills, experience and mindset:
  • You need to be a self-driven strategic thinker.
  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree in engineering/technical field.
  • Minimum 8-10 years of experience in supply chain management and strategic program management.
  • Demonstrates leadership skills in a technical environment.
  • Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to develop important relationships with key stakeholders, good conflict management skills. You will need to be comfortable collaborating and communicating with stakeholders at all levels both within and external to the company.
  • Excellent analytical skills, with an ability to communicate complex issues in a simple way.
  • Ability to translate strategy into action, strong communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Expert user of Microsoft Project or equivalent project management tool.
  • Capability to build structures (WBS, reporting, resource planning, budget planning).
  • Commercially /contractually aware.
  • Effective and collaborative English communication skills (both written and verbal).
  • Practical knowledge of APQP, PPAP, FMEA, change management, problem solving methodologies
  • PMP / IPMA-B or equivalent PM certification is highly desirable

Location / Working Time Requirements:
• primary on-site in Kosice - Home Office allowed depending on project needs, occasional travelling abroad will be required
• High degree of time flexibility (working through several different time zones will be required – Asia & Pacific)
