About the project:
Together with your team (from Slovakia and Germany), you will define the architecture of a software platform that is used to configure and operate all generations of state-of-the-art CT Scanners such as SOMATOM Force or NAEOTOM Alpha, the world’s first CT scanner with photon counting technology.

Your tasks and responsibilities will include:

• Evaluation of different alternative solutions of the various software development and engineering problems
• Mitigation of architectural erosion. Evaluation of changes in technologies used in our project and continuous innovation of SW architecture
• Prototyping and concept preparation
• Qualified decision making based on the analytical inputs
• Documentation of the decisions
• Determination of best practices and requirements for software features in collaboration with other SW architects and requirement engineers
• Participation in planning, tracking, and scheduling of development process
• Review and approval of software feature implementation
• Ensuring the software quality by definition of measures and evaluation of non-functional requirements
• Looking for solutions of the problems in existing code base using advanced refactoring techniques
• Coaching, guidance, and training of the team members
• Communication to different stakeholders, such as Project Managers, Team Leads, Developers and Test Engineers

We expect:

• At least 2 years of relevant project experience as a software architect in an agile environment. SWA Certification is an advantage.
• At least 5 years of experience with software development utilizing various languages (e.g. C++, C# and .NET, HTML5, Java).
• Experience with most of these technologies: Visual Studio 2022, Azure DevOps, .NET Framework 4.8, .NET 6, WCF, nUnit, Moq, HTML5, XML, UML (Enterprise Architect), MFC
• Knowledge of principles of Software Craftsmanship (Design Patterns, Clean Code, TDD) and Agile (SCRUM) development process is an advantage
• Methodical approach and the ability to work in a team
• Advanced collaboration, presentation, and communication skills
• University degree (Master) in computer science, engineering, or similar relevant field
• Written and spoken English (B2/C1)
