Application support engineer for our External Marketing platforms will be part of the global Siemens Healthineers IT Customer & Marketing Platforms team and will work closely with colleagues responsible for management of change requests and development of applications and tools facing external customers (Website, Document Library etc.).

Task and Responsibilities
• Work with the functional/business teams to understand the requirements and provide Test Scenarios
• Understand and guide the creation of Test Scenarios and Test cases for various marketing and communication applications in a global team
• Identify automation and synergy opportunities
• Create and manage the data required for executing test scenarios
• Setup test scenarios
• Execute test scenarios as per schedule, before or as a part of user acceptance test (UAT). Report on the progress of test execution. Capture test evidence following the company Quality guidelines
• Record issues (defects) and track the resolution of the issues to closure
• Support application managers by all test related quality and validation documents generation
• Support application managers by creation and maintenance of compliance documentation

Required Education, Experience and Knowledge/Skills

Education:
• You hold a university degree in information technology, computer science or in a related field

Technical Skills:
• Must be proficient with concepts of functional testing
• Must be proficient with the various functional concepts related to CMS and Web management
• Experience in test management methods and processes is a plus
• Experience with usage of test management tools like
o Azure DevOps (our favored test management tool)
o HP ALM, JIRA (as additional tools welcomed)
• Experience with test automation of E2E and integration tests and their integration into Azure DevOps Services
• Experience with current test automation frameworks like cypress is welcomed
• Experience with dashboards creation and business intelligence solutions is welcomed

Non-Technical Skills:
• Must be able to communicate and work effectively in a multi-cultural environment
• Must possess the ability to collaborate remotely with the functional teams in Germany and the USA
• Must be a self-starter, capable of working with very little supervision
• Must be capable of taking initiative, with a firm understanding of the final goal to be achieved
• Must be an excellent team player
