Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Director Enterprise Resource Planning System Technology acts as the owner of the global Siemens Healthineers Ultrasound Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) platform, which includes capabilities to manage Finance and Controlling, Supply Chain / Logistics, and end-to-end order to cash Sales and Service processes. The role is responsible for providing the long-term IT strategy, transformational vision, day to day operational support, business alignment and leadership of ERP. The role is further defined by providing exceptional customer service to internal 500+ ERP customers, interacting with senior leadership to further refine, optimize, and transform ERP services, striving to create a positive work environment and actively working to create strong business and staff relations.

As Director ERP System Technology, you will be responsible for:

  • Develop and protect IT strategy positions for the ERP landscape
  • Enthusiastically champion IT ERP concepts and serve as face to the customers of ERP services
  • Lead a team of internal and external analysts, technical resources and project managers, including working within internal cross-functional teams either directly, indirectly or matrixed 
  • Build close partnerships with multiple ERP stakeholders and leadership to align and support business objectives
  • Provide input into future roadmap activities for new software enhancements, features and functionality to further develop IT ERP tool strategy
  • Establish key performance indicators to track targets and measure success
  • Identify methods to share IT ERP program effectiveness with leadership and key stakeholders
  • Establish and maintain effective relationships with key vendors
  • Support continuous improvement efforts to ensure appropriate alignment with changing business needs
  • Develop and maintain IT ERP budget forecast and resource planning
  • Manage and prioritize demand for IT ERP services with defined rationale

Required skills to have for the success of this role

  • Specific technical experience with SAP4/HANA; Salesforce / CRM integration system experience strongly suggested
  • Knowledge of overall ERP processes (i.e. Finance and Controlling, Supply Chain / Logistics, and end-to-end order to cash Sales and Service processes)
  • Outstanding verbal and written communication skills with ability to present to c-level leaders
  • Strong organizational and relationship management skills
  • Familiarity with multiple methodologies, including Lean and Agile
  • Ability to coach, mentor and develop a strategic organization of the next generation of leaders 
  • Capacity to influence, negotiate and persuade
  • Creative thinker with aptitude to identify innovative solutions
  • Bachelors Degree in Information Technology, Masters Degree or higher is preferred
  • Minimum 7 years’ experience in SAP platform management
  • Willingness to travel 20-25% of working time
  • Ability to excel in both remote and in-office working environments

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards : starting from 3500EUR brutto /month + VAR*
