Job description, responsibilities and duties

Siemens Energy Management Division is one of the leading global suppliers of products, systems, solutions, and services for the reliable transmission and distribution of electrical power.

Our team in Zilina is responsible for development and deployment of Prepaid Energy solution. Product enables flexible tariff models, significantly reduces operating costs, and gives customers the freedom to recharge their account anytime and anywhere, from any device.

We are looking for Java Developer (JEE and Java 8+, this year migration to Java11) who will be responsible for:

• Experience building complete web applications
• Mobile applications development (iOS, Android) is a bonus
• Java programming skills, J2EE is nice to have
• JavaScript framework eprience, preferably Angular
• SQL databases (Oracle, PostgreSQL), Apache Cassandra
• CI/CD and automated testing

Optional:

• Linux administration and scripting
• Boss EAP

This position is remote with occasional travelling to Zilina.
