Job description, responsibilities and duties

Export Control and Custom Specialist Responsibilities:
• The Regional ECC Specialist will be responsible for import and export trade compliance matters in the region, including export/import laws, export control compliance, classification, export licensing, and any other trade compliance-related functions.
• Manage all export/import ECC activities in the regional countries
• Responsible for classifications of parts and export license determinations/license application process.

Required Education / Skills:
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration or International Business with 5+ years of related work experience
• Solid understanding of LOCAL government agency regulations and international regulations, classification, trade benefit programs
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to translate complex regulations into simple statements

Nice to have
• Experience with Government Agencies (PGA) is an advantage
• Familiar or experience with cross-border logistics operations preferred
• Experience with SAP is an advantage

ECC Professional’s Governance and Operational Responsibilities:
• Ensure related ECC standard business processes requirements are integrated into business strategies, processes, products, and new business opportunities.
• Internal reviews – Support with the development, implementation, and execution of review-program. Remediation tracking, coordination of ECC audits including CF A. Manage regular internal review program.
• Transactional Activities - Product classification - Review and support with Commodity Code and ECCN values in IMEX systems for newly created materials.
• Perform reviews of classifications for consistency as appropriate. - Import transactions - provide transactional data to customs brokers to facilitate efficient imports of products.
• Monitor and manage customs broker performance to ensure accurate, and timely import processing. Conduct broker reviews and other communications of performance measures.
• Perform monthly batch screening of vendor and customer SAP master data against denies parties list.
• Export Licensed shipments - Review sales orders which require export licenses
• Cross border activities - Collaborate with ECC and other teams outside the EU as needed to facilitate import activities of EU shipments into other countries.

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards: starting from 2300EUR brutto /month + VAR
