Job description, responsibilities and duties

Siemens Energy Management Division is one of the leading global suppliers of products, systems, solutions, and services for the reliable transmission and distribution of electrical power.

Our team in Zilina is responsible for development and deployment of Prepaid Energy solution. Product enables flexible tariff models, significantly reduces operating costs, and gives customers the freedom to recharge their account anytime and anywhere, from any device. 

We are looking for new colleague with experience in:

• Solution engineering capabilities, capability, and motivation to learn a complex system and domain
• Capable of handling wide spread of tasks from requirement analysis in direct contact with customer to system configuration and analysis of log files for fixing bugs
• Ability to work together with PM and technical responsible from customer as technical lead from our side after training and experience (become as solution design architect for EIP)
• Good skill in detailed specification writing
• Good SQL and shell scripting knowledge
• Willingness to travel onsite for up to a week several times a year

Nice to have:

• Java programming a definite plus
• experience in agile process
