Job description, responsibilities and duties
We are looking for a java developer for a project intended to improve energy efficiency and sustainability of buildings – offices, hospitals, hotel chains, etc. You will be working with up-to-date technologies in an international scrum team which closely collaborates with colleagues in Switzerland and Germany. Our goal is to implement a highly responsive, scalable and secure solution with attractive look & feel which will be used across the world by our external customers – facility managers, building owners and others.
In this role you will be responsible for:
- Analysis, design and implementation in Java or C#
- Implementation of unit tests for your code
- Document your design and code
- Participate on scrum events – daily stand-up, sprint review, demo, retrospective
- Communicating with product management and team member from other teams about interfaces and dependencies
We expect
1+ years of experience in software development projects
Mandatory skills:
· Object oriented analysis, design and implementation
· Experience with programming in object-oriented programming language (Java, C#, typescript)
· Experience with cloud infrastructure (e.g. AWS)
· Knowledge of design patterns
· Experience with working in a SCRUM team
Nice to have skills:
· UML
· SQL
· Service Oriented Architecture (rest)
Personality requirements and skills:
· Good analytical and problem solving skills
· Good written and verbal communication skills
· Focused on goals
