Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Junior SAP Project Manager is part of the project and integration team. You are highly motivated by team activities, able to apply structure but also creativity to get project challenges addressed. The project relies on your input and the project benefits from your organizational talent.

Task and Responsibilities:
• Establish project plan and initiate project mobilization by confirming project objective, scope, estimate, resources, roles and responsibilities for projects with low complexity
• Defines and manages risks of project and establishes relevant strategies
• Monitor and control execution of project though Analysis, Design, Build, Test and Release with regards to schedule and progress, scope and objectives and budget utilization
• Control and track project financials, resources allocations and utilization, task completion levels
• Report and communicate status, ensuring transparency
• Ensure escalations where necessary
• Coordinate stakeholder alignment
• Support development of processes and functional concepts and implementation, in close coordination with the business departments and IT

Required Education, Experience and Knowledge/Skills:

Education:
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in business informatics, business administration / similar area
• Certification in Project Management as an option

Experience:
• 1-3 years of experience in SAP project management activities
• Experience in SAP modules
• Excellent knowledge of project controlling terms
• Intercultural experience

Technical Skills:
• Superior understanding of Microsoft (MS) tool landscape and expertise in MS PowerPoint, Excel, Word, Project, Planner, Teams, Sharepoint online
• Profound SAP ERP knowledge

Non-Technical Skills:
• Creative solution finding
• Must have a structured way of working and thinking as well as organizational skills
• Must have analytical capabilities
• Must work solution oriented
• Must be an excellent team player
• Must be capable of taking initiative, with a firm understanding of the final goal to be achieved
• Must demonstrate the ability to communicate and work in a multi-cultural environment
• Must possess the ability to collaborate remotely in a global team
• Must have a record of being capable of working independently with very little supervision
• Must be capable of working in highly demanding, time critical assignments
• Must be business fluent in the English language, German as an option
