Job description, responsibilities and duties

Tasks:
• Ensure system functionality of a global distributed PLM-System based on Mentor Xpedition, Capital Harness, Teamcenter
• Participate in upgrading and enhancing the PLM landscape in an agile team setup
• Driving DevOps
• Monitoring and continuous improvement of the provided services including disaster recovery to ensure highest system availability and performance
• Ensure security of the provided services according to the enterprise standards
• Operation and administration of tools on Windows / Linux infrastructure (onprem and cloud)

Preferred experiences and skills:
• Demonstrate the ability to solve complex, multi-system problems
• Understanding of Continuous Integration and Continuous Deployment Pipelines (e.g. Jenkins)
• Administration of Enterprise Applications in Windows / Linux environment, databases and services (Linux, Windows, Oracle/Postgres, monitoring tools, also in Cloud)
• Scripting experience is an advantage (e.g. Python and or Java Skills)
• Communication and teamwork skills
• Excellent English
• German skills would be welcome

Others:
• In special cases work outside normal office hours might be necessary (patching days)
