Job description, responsibilities and duties

We are looking for Software Developer Clinical Workflow of any levels to join a software development team in the area of healthcare solutions and products.

Our teams work on various software products and solutions in the portfolio of Siemens Healthcare. Some products help doctors to come up with a precise diagnosis quicker, which allows for a better treatment. Other solutions help driving the benefits of healthcare services by enabling the rapid, easy and seamless interaction of data and knowledge. At the same time, we are enabling healthcare providers to efficiently create, market and offer services which are seamlessly integrated into a shared digital healthcare platform. You design and implement systems in the realm of clinical workflows. Your special emphasis will be the modelling of the related long-term backend workflows, incl. their rules and data models. You will also work with internal and external partners on integration interfaces (for instance based on FHIR).

Required education
University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Educational Specialization
Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Computer Science or related fields

Personality requirements and skills
• Master degree, preferably in medical informatics or computer science. Can be partially substituted by relevant experience.
• Clinical standards (FHIR, HL7, CDA, Smart-on-FHIR)
• Clinical Data Modeling (CDA, FHIR, Relational, RIM, CIMI)
• Workflow modeling (BPMN)
• Clinical Rules coding (Groovy)
• Java, Groovy
• Design and implementation of RESTful APIs
• IDEs and tooling, e.g. Eclipse, BPMN design tool, data modeling tools
• Use of Linux based workstations
• Agile development methods, Continuous Integration
• Fluent English spoken and written
• Willingness for occasional travel within Europe

Plus
• Familiarity with clinical workflows, basic medical knowledge
• Familiarity with further clinical rules methodologies (CQL, Arden MDM)
• Familiarity with Linux scripting
• German spoken and written

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards : 1100 EUR brutto /month + VAR*
