Job description, responsibilities and duties

What we are looking for

As an IT Application Support Manager you will be managing necessary support activities for a collection of enterprise applications in the areas such as logistics, document management, supplier management and others, used by Healthcare Business Units in Europe, USA and China.Your tasks and responsibilities will include but not be limited to the following.

Your Tasks and Responsibilities will be:

2nd Level Incident Management
- Ensure, control and coordinate Incident Management to support the IT applications according to SLAs (if applicable)
- Act as the first point of contact for the IT Application Manager, the external partner(s) and the involved Subject Matter Experts when it comes to a 2nd Level Incident Management
- Verify and prioritize incidents including categorization according to SLA

Quality/Compliance Management
- Support the IT Application Manager with testing activities, as well as creation and maintenance of the necessary documentation

Required education
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Educational Specialization
Information Technology, Computer Science or related fields - Bachelor or advanced degree preferred

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) or
German - Upper intermediate (B2)
Number of years of experience

Personality requirements and skills
Required Knowledge/Skills, Education, and Experience
- Academic degree in Computer Science/Engineering or comparable relevant experience
- Young professional with 2-4 years of experiences in Incident Management or similar positions (ideally including references)
- Good verbal and written communication skills with an emphasis on multicultural sensitivity
- Strong teamwork skills
- Structured, proactive, and self-directed work style
- Basic technical understanding of Web Application Architecture, Network infrastructure, and SQL Server database
- Fluent in English

Nice to have
- Experience in Healthcare industry business processes
- Fluent in German is a plus
