Job description, responsibilities and duties

Provides in depth systems analysis. Designs, installs, implements complex operating systems software and related program products. Provides technical consulting on the use and integration of applications into the operating environment. Performs additional job duties as required. Works with corporate-wide technical staff and large external clients on complex projects and tasks. It includes installation, testing and implementation of complex system environments monitoring and response to incidents or potential problems.

Works independently and with leadership.
• Assists in initial design, upgrades and plans for growth.
• Designs and executes technical tests on the systems within his/her competence.
• Comfortable with all aspects of system administration; for example, system installation and configuration, fundamentals of security, installing third-party software
• Documentation of requirements, connection configurations, test plans, etc.
• Analyze and provide problem solutions for complex technical issues. Identify potential improvements to increase the reliability, availability, supportability, and performance of the file transfer infrastructure.
• Provide technical support to junior team members
• Strong written, verbal, analytical and organizational skills
• Collaborate with the groups when necessary to troubleshoot issues.
• Ability to multitask and provide expertise for multiple teams across concurrent project tasks
• Provides in depth systems analysis and consultation.
• Work with our Managed File Transfer solution to set up and maintain secure file transfers.

Wage (gross)

2 200 EUR/monthStarting from 2200,. € - our final offer will depend on the seniority and expertise of the chosen candidate

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

Secondary with school-leaving examination
University education (Bachelor's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2) and Slovak - Upper intermediate (B2)

Other knowledge

Scripting - Advanced
UNIX/Linux - Advanced
Client/server administration - Advanced

Personality requirements and skills

Technical requirements:
• UNIX/Linux
• Experienced in scripting languages (PowerShell, Python, VBS, ...)
• General knowledge in: network, TCP/IP, Firewall
• Client/server solution

Advantage:
• File encryption and authentication
• Electronic commerce terminology
• Experience with : Connect Direct and Axway will be a plus
