Job Description

  • Plays a strategic role in building creative sales strategies that are focused on consumer satisfaction and revenue generation for the business.
  • Conducts reviews on the existent sales department strategies and weighs them against results in order to identify areas of improvement.
  • Represents the business beyond the sales department, participates in tradeshows, sales workshops, sales seminars, and events on behalf of the business.
  • Meets the set business objectives and the company's financial results in the allocated segment.
  • Responsible for the development and maintenance of relationships on behalf of the company and the business as a whole, mainly between the consumers and external partners.
  • Develops and maintains knowledge of consumer, competitor, and market trends. He stays up-to-date with industry best practices.
  • Participates actively in the preparation of the annual sales plan, sales activities and negotiation process for the allocated segment.
  • Manages the activities of the assigned department, is responsible for its structure, processes, personal development of its members.
  • Representing and presenting the company in business negotiations in accordance with corporate strategy and goals.

Place of work: Bratislava or Harmanec (Slovakia), Sladki Vrh (Slovenia)
Reporting line: Group Commercial and Marketing Director

Key Requirements/ Qualifications

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)
Postgraduate (Doctorate)

Language skills

English - Advanced (C1)

Driving licence

B

Personality requirements and skills

  • Previous working experience of at least 5 years in a sales position within a complex and fast-paced business environment is a must.
  • Previous experience in paper industry is a huge advantage.
  • Exceptional sales skills and a consistent track record in sales conversion success and performance.
  • Previous experience with team management and leading is a must.
  • Excellent negotiation, listening and presentation abilities.
  • Analytical thinking, responsible, good in timing, precise and independent.
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Excel, Powerpoint)
