Job Description
· Identifies the purchasing needs of the organization (goods, material, services)
· Sources suppliers, negotiates supplier offers and assuring the best possible pricing, delivery time, payment conditions and any other contractual conditions
· Analyzes market trends and applies this knowledge to make insightful buying decisions and recommendation to internal clients
· Prepares and conducts supplier meetings as well as meeting reports and follows up the actions deriving from those meetings
· Optimizes and implements the purchasing processes and standards which are in line with SHP Group standards and Management guidelines
· Ensures maximum synergies and best pricing by leverage of SHP Group volumes
· Steers appointed projects and where possible concludes SHP Group contracts
· Manages local purchasing team, bears responsibility for their yearly goals settings, follow up and evaluation
· Provides regular reporting to Group Purchasing Director
· Reviews and approves purchase orders, approves/rejects invoices in the flow and acts in compliance with internal procedures
· Builds relationships with suppliers and manages their performance
· Conducts routine supplier business reviews, evaluating supplier performance and compliance
· “Claim management” and “Evaluation management” with suppliers
