Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Supply Planner is responsible to lead the Supply Planning step of the SIOP / Integrated Business
Planning process for their assigned sites. The key deliverables are to take the unconstrained Demand Plan
and develop an associated Supply Plan, analyzing for potential constraints, including machine capacity,
labour, external suppliers, contract manufacturers etc. The monthly goal is to deliver an accurate and cross-functionally aligned 18 month rolling supply plan including manufacturing output (i.e. COGS) & resulting
changes in Inventory / Backlog plans. A key responsibility of the Supply Planner is to develop, document,
update and challenge the assumptions supporting the supply plan.
This role is a critical part of the organization's SIOP team and is responsible for managing the long-term
Master Planning of what we will need to Supply to meet our customer requirements. This role interacts closely
with Demand Planning, Operations, Procurement, Production to build a cross-functional supply plan that will
be used as the basis for the detailed production planning and material purchasing throughout the supply
chain.
• Lead the Supply Planning process for the assigned sites
• Develop and maintain an 18-month rolling Supply (i.e. COGS) & resulting Inventory / Backlog plan for
assigned sites
• Represent the Supply Planning function in the site-level SIOP process
• Validate and maintain alignment with Commercial Teams and Interco OneStream forecasts
• Identify future constrains on critical resources (i.e. labor, materials, machines, etc) based on
demonstrated output levels
• Propose gap mitigation alternatives when Supply cannot meet the unconstrained Demand
• Maintain list of assumptions
• Provide summary of sensitivities, vulnerabilities, opportunities to relevant KPIs
• Ensures consistency with XPS standards for Supply Planning across assigned sites

Personality requirements and skills

Strong academic track record at university in related field (e.g. engineering, supply chain, finance)
• Minimum 5+ years relevant supply chain experience for a Global international company, at least 3
years of experience in data processing, reporting, analysis
• APICS Certification (or comparable) - advantage
• Desire to develop Leadership & Strategic skills
• Fluently English and other languages is a plus
• Demonstrated knowledge of Supply Planning & Inventory Excellence concepts
• Knowledge and experience of lean manufacturing, CI, and/or six sigma tools & concepts
• Excellent analytical and presentation skills
• Highly proficient in relevant Business Systems (i.e. Planning Tools, ERP systems, Microsoft Office)
• Ability to translate business and financial goals into action plans
• Ability to communicate effectively at all levels from manufacturing floor to Executive
• Ability to multi-task, prioritize and work in a rapidly changing stressful environment
