Our client is looking for a Senior developer and he/she will be responsible for an architecture as this will be a new team built from scratch! Hence, it will be more Backend than Fullstack. Our client is looking for two senior candidates.

LOCATION:
At the moment it's 100% home-office job, and after Korona ends only 2 days /week in Vienna office, and the rest is work from home.

Job description:
As Lead Go/Golang Developer, you are not only becoming one of the first team members of a new squad, but also take ownership for the technical development and alignment with architecture expectations to successfully drive our new product within the international video and sports market.

Your core tasks include the ongoing development of the core product including backend and frontend, driving the architecture of the system, and the assurance of high code quality.

THE CHALLENGE:
- Back-end software development using Go
- Build testable code and help increase our unit test coverage and confidence
- Work in a modern, collaborative development environment using GitLab, Continuous Integration, and Continuous Delivery
- Together with the team, you take responsibility for the development, the quality assurance and the deployment of the code
- Help other team members to achieve their goals and objectives, plan and review their work, and monitor their progress
