Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Risk Officer role is a risk management function located in the 1st line of defence, overseeing risk, control, outsourcing and IRCS framework in a branch, internally as well as with relationships to customers, third party providers and outsourcing partners.
The organizational set-up of the function and the appointment or dismissal of the Officer requires pre-alignment with the AZ Technology CRO.

• Assurance that the local entity fully complies with the Risk Policy Framework and other below mentioned Policies; if necessary with adaptations due to local regulation, after pre-alignment with AZ Technology CRO
• Implementation and co-ordination of concerning risk, control, outsourcing and resilience management procedures following the globally unified approach at AZ Technology
• Co-ordination of risk assessments, quality assurance, control testing, development of mitigation plans and it’s follow up
• Transparency of the risk profile and management of key risks, including 3rd party relationships
• Support in preparation and approval process of NBM applications
• Reporting of occurred operational loss events, control weaknesses, ad hoc stress scenarios and events related to 3rd party and outsourcing providers

The Risk Officer reports to entity risk and security governance function and functionally to CRO.
In addition Risk Officer assures regular reporting to the local Entity Risk and Information Security Management Forum (ERISMF), as well as to AZ Technology CRO.
Any material change to the risk profile needs to be reported immediately to Management and to CRO (ad hoc).

Personality requirements and skills

• Multi-year professional experience in different areas of IT risk management or other safeguarding functions
• Good understanding of risk categories: operational risk, IT risk, project risk, third party risk, business risk
• At least basic knowledge of relevant regulatory environment standards (e.g. COBIT5 or ISO27xxx) and local regulatory requirements
• Strong communication and conflict management skills

• English (full working proficiency) [required]
• Hungarian (working proficiency) [advantage]
