Information about the position
Job description, responsibilities and duties
• Develop and execute a strategic sales plan tailored to the defense, homeland security, and emergency services sectors
• Identify and build relationships with key customers, including Ministries of Defense, civil protection units, and international procurement organizations
• Lead the complete sales cycle: from identifying leads and creating technical-commercial offers to negotiating and closing contracts
• Support tender submissions, framework agreements, and grant-based procurement efforts
• Collaborate closely with R&D and product teams to align solutions with market needs and user feedback
• Monitor global CBRN trends, competitors, and industry developments to proactively identify new business opportunities
• Manage CRM systems and maintain accurate sales pipelines and forecasts
• Represent SEC Technologies at key industry events, exhibitions, and government meetings

Personality requirements and skills
• University degree in Business, International Relations, Engineering, Security Studies, or a related field preferred
• Minimum 3 years of international sales experience, ideally in high-tech B2G (business-to-government) or defense/security sectors
• Proven ability to lead complex sales processes with institutional customers or procurement authorities
• Fluent in English (C1/C2); additional languages (e.g., German, French, Spanish or Arabic) are a strong asset
• Strong technical understanding of defense technologies or willingness to learn quickly
• Experience with CRM platforms and data-driven sales tracking
• Excellent MS Office skills (Excel, PowerPoint, Word)
• Strong presentation, negotiation, and interpersonal skills
• Analytical mindset with attention to detail and strategic thinking
• Highly self-driven, proactive, and accountable (“extreme ownership”)
• Ability to travel internationally
