Job description, responsibilities and duties

Engineering Excellence Center in Bratislava is looking for 4 Commissioning Engineers with following key responsibilities:

• provide pre-project, project and post-project engineering services;
• design and implement solutions based on clients requirements;
• develop control application, human machine interface or safety application;
• prepare project documentation;
• participate in customer acceptance tests, provide on-site support;
• communication with customer;
• commissioning.

Basic wage component (gross) and other rewards

Based on qualification and experience the salary for this position starts at 1500 EUR/monthly. Additional remuneration is associated with work performed on the project.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Bachelor's degree)
University education (Master's degree)

Educational Specialization

Automation, Applied informatics, IT, Electrical or mechanical engineering;

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Driving licence


Number of years of experience


Personality requirements and skills

• Master’s degree in automation, engineering, or IT;
• 5+ years of relevant experience;
• OS Windows, OS Unix/Linux (advantage);
• MS Excel, MS Access (advantage), One of SQL database (advantage);
• Experience with engineering/configuration tools - preferably in process automation industry;
• One of programming languages at an advanced level (VB, C#, C++, Java, etc.);

• PLC/Scada engineering competencies:
SCADA – at least Citect or other required, Power Scada Operation desired;


• Network engineering competencies:
Ethernet switch/router configuration advanced level;

Other requirements:

• Commissioning skills at advanced level.
• Being flexible in working on projects and travelling to customers up to 80%;
• Driving license (B).

Languages required:
• English at least at B2 level (written and spoken).
