Job description, responsibilities and duties

• Acquisition of new customers and intensifying customer relationships through professional and pro-active approach in the development of complex solutions in the petrochemical, refinery and EPC segment. Special focus for Turbomachinery applications.
• Management of defined accounts in the region as in cooperation with the industrial end customer sales department.
• Identification and analysis of accounts in close collaboration with other business units.
• Identification of automation and process projects, with independent development of solution and system proposals with the support of the system application experts.
• Tracking and guiding your automation projects from identification through proposal until purchase order phase and finally execution by the delivery team.
• Support in the project development of complex and cross-business projects.
• Development of new technical solutions / alternatives to customer tenders through in-depth product and system knowledge for the development of customer-related solutions. Cooperation in quotation processing and calculation to achieve the optimal sales strategy.
• Determine market-driven project pricing, considering internal approval processes. Conducting the final sales negotiations.
• Maintain relationship levels with customers, stakeholders and suppliers at various levels within the customer organization.
• Observing and analyzing the market and competitive situation to initiate marketing activities, in close coordination with other business units.
• Use the CRM tools to track the sales process and ensure proper sales data quality.

Personality requirements and skills

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Industrial automation, Process Control, Information Technologies, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field;
• Knowledge of the Turbomachinery Industry is a must and Process Industry is a plus;
• Minimum 5 years of sales experience with management level in the selected segment;
• Business acumen;
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English;
• Pro-Activeness, "Hunter" mentality;
• Strong communication skills;
• Persuasive and authentic;
• Willingness to travel frequently.
