Job description, responsibilities and duties
Design Engineer (DE) for Electrical Distribution (ED) participates in end-to-end process of an assigned industrial project from technical and time point of view, accomplish professional engineering work in a specific WP work package and assist a WP DL (Design Leader) during a project execution.
He should be able to technically assist during a project execution and factory and on site testing. He participates in international complex and middle-sized projects and works in international environment.
In general:
* Technical and schedule responsibility and duty during a project execution phase of an international industrial project
* Industrial projects of Electrical Distribution (ED)
* Permanent position in Regional Execution Platform (engineering center) in Bratislava with business trips in EMEAS region
Technical Responsibilities
* Assuming technical responsibility for a complete subset: studies, subcontractors and commissioning
* Ensuring quality (content, timing, costs) of the studies
* Forwarding reports to the Design Leader or Technical Leader or Project manager
* Writing technical specifications and design notes
* Performing design studies and details studies if required
* Participating in design meetings
* Preparing FAT and participate if needed
* Participating actively in the capitalization and sharing of experience
* Maintaining technical theoretical and applied skills in the domain
* Contributing to technical innovation and productivity

• Confirmed experience or literacy with any of Schneider Equipment for MV (Premset, MCSET, PIX, etc.) and Protection Relays (SEPAM, Micom, Easergy) is an advantage
• Experience or literacy in any competitor range of equipment (ABB, SIEMENS, etc.) is an advantage
• Flexibility & Reliability, Focus on technical details & Customer focus, Team player, Goal keeper
• Effective communication (with customer and inside a project team)
• Ability to work and cooperate in international and inter-cultural environment
• ICT literacy: MS Office, Acrobat, AutoCAD, Power electric systems knowledge
• English - Upper intermediate (B2) and higher, other languages as French and/or Spanish and/or German and/or Russian are a plus
• Willingness to travel up to 30% in EMEAS region
• Potential to work on long time base abroad – 1yr (option)
• Driving license B
