Job description, responsibilities and duties

Design Leader (DL) for CW (Civil engineering and construction work) structure manages end-to-end process of an assigned industrial project Civil engineering, 3D modeling and construction WP Work Package from technical and time point of view. He technically correctly, efficiently and flexibly analyses a customer assignment and proposes and implements appropriate technical solution and changes as well as fully support the project TL (Technical Leader) with the whole WP.

Regarding the CW WP he should be able to build a 3D model (BIM – metal or concrete buildings) technically lead a project technical and schedule proposal, execution engineering design and construction companies coordination. He manages CW WP in international complex and middle-sized projects and works in international environment.

Technical Responsibilities & Duties
During a project tender / proposal / offer preparation phase to provide a complex technical analysis of the customer CW WP technical and schedule requirements
Cooperate with Schneider Electric electrical specialists and subsuppliers on the proposal / offer preparation
Analysis of a customer civil and construction assignment, interfaces and BIM / 3D model requirements
During a project execution / engineering design coordinates and manages complex engineering documentation of the particular CW Work Package WP on a specific project including all technical work package interfaces
Coordinate from technical point of view subcontractors and decide on a final technical solution of CW work in order to propose which is in line with customer requirements and project changes
Evaluate all technical CW WP technical risks and communicate them to TL
During a project execution phase to provide a complex technical leadership of Basic and Detailed design engineering documentation, on site performance, implement all changes into civil engineering and 3D model engineering documentation after commissioning – ABD (As Built Docs) preparation
Propose a full and deep technical support and expertise for TL and PM for CW work and BIM / 3D in a specific project during a project lifecycle (tendering – execution – maintenance)
Participate on project meetings and clarify technical details and potential project changes schedule impact
Solid and substantial technical background and knowledge from civil engineering and 3D modeling of buildings (metal – eHouses, concrete buildings) indifferent industrial segments (Oil & Gas, Electrical Distribution & Substations, Datacenters, Metal / Mining / Minerals projects, Solar photovoltaic plants, Wind farms, Facility management)
Technical overview of different types of industrial buildings and FM facility management, design and different level of 3D design with a focus on industrial buildings and electrical rooms
Technical change management knowledge and ability to identify the project technical criticalities, risks and opportunities
Ability to use CAD systems some of AutoCAD / Revit / ArchiCAD, Inventor / PDMS and a high level of 3D documentation orientation and understanding
Awarness of ISO / EN / IEC / IEEE intl standards

Coordinate technical solution with other DL Design Leaders (different WPs), TL Technical Leader and PM Project Manager in order to maximize project margin

Fully respect to Safety standards during all project execution
