Job description, responsibilities and duties

The Regional Execution Platform MEEI drives, designs and executes solutions of turnkey international projects in different activities (Oil & Gas, Utilities, Energy, Datacenters, Mining, Ehouse …) for International customers.

This role is designed to centralize cost analysis and cost controlling responsibilities of DVC, PBC and SFC of REC entity.
Should be able to understand thoroughly, cost evolutions in entity's P&L vs last year vs reforecast and to initiate cost saving plans.
Single point of contact for all cost controlling related issues and to provide solutions.
This role manages few cost directions directly and work as “consolidation leader” to have single cost controlling reports at entity level.
This role requires adequate IFRS knowledge as the role is expected to perform as per IFRS rules, Schneider internal guidelines and RCOA rules. This role interacts with cost center business managers, cost controllers, Project controllers, Finance Business Partners and FAS team in France and cost controllers in other Schneider entities across the world.

Main responsibilities:

* Cost controlling and related activities (including rebilling, reclassification, Accruals, Payroll, Pre-closing alerts and post-closing cost reporting, Under / Over absorption analysis, Variance analysis and other cost controlling activities) following IFRS and Schneider RCOA guidelines.
* To prepare Budget for the entity, in coordination with Cost controllers and Finance Business Partners and modify the Budget on quarterly basis as part of quarterly rolling forecast.
* To establish a rolling forecast on quarterly basis in coordination with business managers. Monthly monitoring of actual costs vs forecast vs last year and the gap analysis with business managers and to initiate actions to reduce the gaps.
* To initiate cost saving action plans and to achieve 10% productivity vs Y-1 costs.
* Calculation of hourly rates in coordination of CCs and FBPs and to update them in SAP Bridge.
* To analyse and resolve the differences between Purchase order, Good receipt and invoices (GR/IR analysis) and GR/IR balance under control.

Requirements for the employee

Candidates with education suit the position

University education (Master's degree)

Language skills

English - Upper intermediate (B2)

Personality requirements and skills

* Master's degree or equivalent
* 5+ years’ experience in Financial analysis and / or cost controlling
* Experience in international / multi-cultural teams.
* Basic accounting knowledge is must. Should be well versed with PO to payment cycle.
* Hands on experience of SAP, expert level knowledge in MS-excel is required.
* Strong communication skills and should be a good team player.
