Information about the position

Job description, responsibilities and duties

*Schedule manufacturing equipment and assembly lines considering material and resources availability - hands on task
*Synchronize and prioritize production orders to meet customer expectations - MPS planning task
*Plan equipment and assembly lines capacity according to the supply plan - daily capacity planning
*Lead the operational SFM (System For Management) and ensure the KPI`s are monitored and targets achieved
*Optimizes the operations flow by defining and synchronizing the production takttime and minimize the WIP
*Optimizes the plan and bottleneck utilization, and generates a feasible plan in order to reach OTD targets
*Ensure the external fabrication by peaks, equipment break downs or other resources availability
*Ensure the internal manufacturing chain (SM, AS, LG) and interfaces (QM, ENG, MP, OF, INDU)
*In collaboration with Production Manager and HR plans the HC needed for the assembly and manufacturing lines.
*Manage the planning team for scheduling of production orders and get a balanced workload.
*Report delays and On Time Delivery KPI.
*Follow up/control daily production realization against plan, delays and analyze root causes.
*Inform Customer Service about confirmation dates being the focal point for the communication with this department.
*Participate and represent the plant though MPS and S&OP processes
*Lead local MPS weekly meeting
*Conduct continuous improvement actions on local planning processes/methods/tools
